the big 3-0!

Oh my world. I'm 30!  From the moment my day started with a kiss from my amazing Johnny and my free Starbucks drink, I could tell it was going to be an uh-mazing day.  My co-workers surprised me with lots of sweets and the most adorable funfetti cake, then my sisters randomly showed up at work to bring me balloons and a cupcake! So I thought... But she actually came to steal my garage opener to sneak into my house! I came home from work to find my house cleaned and organized and this amazing spread in the dining room!

My mom had also sent over some miyeok gook, a must for a Korean birthday! I ate the delish food, facetimed with the Cakies babies and waited for the hubz to finish work. He came home and surprised me with my gift... a new camera!!!!!!

At dinner, I was allowed to open the package the BFF sent over.

It was filled with goodies made by Cakies baby #1 and #2, a scavenger hunt list, and a much needed night away in Newport Beach. So from that Saturday morning, all I did was go scavenger hunting, eat and relax. The best way to spend a birthday, in my opinion!

Sunday, there was more partying at my mom's house with my sisters and bro, along with the Cakies clan. It truly was the best birth-weekend ever!

Now that I'm thirty, I'm very serious about my nightly neck cream application. It's been a while since someone has mistaken me as a high school student! ... I don't know if that's a good or bad thing... Anyway, 30 ain't so bad so far! :)

  3. Happy belated birthday! I love so many things about this post! The cake and your camera! And that atlas on your wall! It reminds me of elementary school in the eighties!
