I am not a fan of rain.  Big time whiny baby about it.

 


Teaching on rainy days are insane but there are some perks to a crazy day!  1. Cute first graders in sweet rain boots! 2. Cozy reading time with shoes OFF!

Okay. That's a lie. I don't want it to stay, but it's not so bad when I get to wear my bright red wellies!

I've previously shared my dislike of rain. I'm not going to even pretend I like it. I know some people love rain, something I cannot understand. It rained on my sister's wedding day. I would have had a conniption, but the Carriers were quite graceful about it. Check it out here.

When I woke up on Tuesday morning and heard the rain, I was NOT happy. But what eased the pain? My new Hunter rain boots!

This past weekend, I went to the Nordstrom in Fashion Island hoping I would get a glimpse of Nicole Richie. LOVE HER! Totally stalker status. In total diva style, she only stayed for 45 minutes instead of the 2 hours she was supposed to. Didn't get to see her but did leave with new boots, thanks to my husband. I really hope it stops raining but if it doesn't, I can just throw on my Hunter Wellies!
