dear santa...

"Dear Santa, Which town are you coming?  I love your reindeer. Can you bring me my meep(?)?  Sometimes I'm bad.  I'm sorry!"

"Dear Santa, Ohh! Boy!  What are you going to give me, Santa? Am I on the naughty list?  Are you fat? What town are you going to?"

"Dear Santa,  What town are you coming first?  Are you coming to Iowa, Mexico, China? Because I really want Blackops 2.  If you do, I am going to be happy."

AND LAST, my fave.  I was a little confused when I saw that she wrote "hoe list".  She politely corrected me and told me that it wasn't a "h" but a "n" making that work quickly change from hoe to naughty.  She clearly needs more handwriting practice.

"Dear Santa, I like your reindeer.  Will you I get presents?  I am in the naughty list.  Are you going to give me an ipad?  You are nice Santa.  Super fly up in the sky. You heard!"

Merry Christmas everyone! I'll be spending Christmas day with my family and my sister's in laws.  With the bustle and hustle of the season, it's easy to forget the real meaning of Christmas.  At our Sunday gathering this past week, our pastor reminded us about the greatest gift of all - God himself.  My sinful heart often wants a long list of material things, especially during this time of year, but thanks to Jesus for being the real reason for the season.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!

  1. This comment is a little late (oops!), but those Santa letters are adorable! I hope to do that with the kids in my future classroom. And isn't kid-spelling the best? Honestly, it's one of the reasons I can't wait to teach.

And even though the holidays are over, I definitely find myself thinking about the materialism of Christmas. I really find myself thinking about what I want for Christmas and what I'm going to give my friends/families. And then I'm reminded that it's not about finding the best gift out there because Jesus is the best gift of all. :)
