So, last week, when we got together for my older sister's bday celebration, Johnny baked his self-proclaimed award winning pie. It hasn't won an award (yet) and I like to squash his dreams by reminding him of this every time he calls it his "award-winning pie" (encouraging wife for the win!).

But honestly, doesn't it look delish?! He used this recipe here and did it all by himself from the crust to the fresh whipped cream. Of course leaving the clean up for me. GET OUT OF MY KITCHEN! Just kiddinggggg!
I'll end with a funny convo Johnny had with my mom (in Korean).
Mom: Wow! The pie looks great. Do you want to go to culinary school and study baking?
John: YES! I would love to. I've always wanted to go to culinary school!
Mom (screaming at him): "What the hell are you thinking! Shut up and hurry up and finish seminary!"
