One summer day captured in one shot...
#1 We stopped by the library to get a (new) library card. The librarian kindly reminded me that I already received a library card over 15 years ago, and a replacement card will cost me $3. I guess that's not bad since we borrowed lotssss of dvds for free!
#2 We headed off to Starbucks and, of course, I was complaining that I was hungry, as usual. John bought this as a snack before we headed out to J-Town for our dinner date. $5 for a mini tray of cheese and half an apple, ARE YOU OUTCHO MIND?! BTW - the multi grain cracker tasted like cardboard.
#3 John got his usual iced coffee. I got a tester for their new lime drink. It was alright.
#4 We call our devotional times, "il divos". I am blessed to have a husband that reminds me of the importance of being in the word daily, listening and reflecting on God's word. John's devotional journal of choice is moleskine journals. He goes through them like he goes through toilet paper; he's always ordering new ones.
#5 My journal of choice is this nice leather bound one. I can't remember where I got it, but I love it. I love that it's small enough to carry around in my purse and I especially love the gold designs. I have no idea where I got it, so if you gifted it to me, thank you! I'm putting it to good use.
#6 "Our" Kindle. It holds 99% of John's books. I rarely read from the Kindle, but I just had to buy the new Jaycee Duggard book, The Stolen Life. I could not put the book down! I read it in one day. I am horrified by the stories she tells and it's amazing how she survived that whole ordeal. You. Must. Read. It.
